During the school year, G-Star School of the Arts film students turn out almost 1,000 film shorts on a huge variety of subjects. In fact, there are so many films produced that G-Star has its own film festival titled “G-Shorts”. However, the granddaddy of them all is the annual G-Star professional student feature film. This year the film’s title is “Student Body”, a wickedly humorous and dark film about the election of a new student body president that includes dirty tricks and murder. The film premiered at the beautiful Borland Theater in Palm Beach Gardens this past Friday evening to a full house. Students in tuxedos and evening gowns attended as well as their parents, families, and G-Star teachers, administrators, and staff. Awards were given out to the over 60 cast and crew members including the principal stars, Salman Sheikh, Sara Thiboult, Bailey Cooper, James Anthony Davis, and Alexander Perry; the Director, Austin Litt; and producers Lauren Eisenstein, Sara Wohlfarth, and Adriana Codon. A behind-the-scenes film was shown to audience directed by Jefky Zamor revealing the hard work, dedication, caring, and diligence the cast and crew took in making this fantastic film come to life. We wish to congratulate everyone associated with the making of this film. It is a true success!
